If it is God that called me…

Very often when a man or woman who claims to have been called, sent or anointed by God is confronted with the flaws in their teachings, actions or ministry, they resort to a defense that reads something like this:

“If it is God that called me, definitely this ministry will continue to blossom, but if it is not God, it will perish.”

As good as it sounds, this is nothing but a smoke screen, as it has no Biblical standing. Take a look at these passages:

Mat 24:11, 24 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

2Ti 3:12-13 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

When next a man uses the burden of “results”, or longevity as a means of defending himself, his actions, his teachings, or his ministry when confronted, know for sure that he is blowing smoke.

He has not presented a valid response. He is either being crafty or he is plain ignorant. Neither of those two options are qualities that point to a person you should be sitting under or following.

Very common among false prophets. They go like ‘except if it’s not God that called be this and this will be so’. It’s obvious they are fake cos their lifestyle doesn’t portray the bible they carry.

Rubbish!

I just laugh when I hear such statements.

Crowd, Money, Influence, Miraculous signs are not the basis of knowing a true minister of God.
